Rocky background in aquarium

Rocky background 120 x 50 cm with cichlids

Rocky aquarium background in Basalt Gneiss with ARSTONE rocks looks gorgeous in the tank. It is perfect for decorating African cichlid aquariums, being not so deep, but still 3D and “cavy” enough. Modules M2, X, C and G were also used to create an additional cave effect.

This is not a very big aquarium, although it’s quite nice. We found these photos of ARSTONE Borneo background in a forum where the whole project was being described step by step. We think it’s a good example that even a small tank can be decorated very nicely and professionally.

This is a project by one of our customers. The minimal design is the main feature of this tank. Just see that natural looking aquarium rocks and Malawi background can be enough for a complete and modern aquatic design.
